Zoom & Drag allows you to quickly and flexibly zoom, rotate, and freely move images and CSS background graphics directly on any webpage - controlled using simple right-click and mouse wheel gestures, without breaking page layouts.

This extension is a fundamentally modernized and improved evolution of the popular (abandoned since 2021) "Zoom Image" extension:

• Updated to modern standards (Manifest V3, optimized codebase without legacy bloat)
• Fully localized in English, German, and Japanese
• Crisp, scalable vector graphics (SVG) for all icons and UI elements
• Lightweight, privacy-friendly, and free of external libraries (jQuery removed)
• Operates entirely locally in the browser - does not collect, store, or transmit any user data

Controls:

• Zoom: Hold Right Click + scroll mouse wheel
• Rotate: Alt + Right Click + scroll mouse wheel
• Drag: Click and hold Left Click to move (on zoomed images)
• Reset to original size: Right Click + Left Click
• Fit to window: Right Click + Middle Click
