WorkChat Ledger is a browser extension developed by Web Vine Studio, also operating as Web Vine Marketing (“Web Vine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how WorkChat Ledger handles information when installed and used in Firefox.


WorkChat Ledger processes conversation content locally inside the browser.

The add-on does not transmit WhatsApp messages, images, reports, license keys, browsing activity, analytics, or personal information to Web Vine Studio or any other remote service.


WorkChat Ledger accesses the currently open WhatsApp Web conversation only after the user opens the add-on and deliberately starts a capture.

The add-on may locally read content that WhatsApp Web has made available in the open conversation, including:

• Message text
• Sender labels
• Dates and times
• Available conversation images
• Indicators that an audio or video attachment is present

This access is used only to create the report requested by the user.

WorkChat Ledger does not continuously monitor WhatsApp Web and does not capture conversations in the background.


All conversation processing occurs locally in the user’s browser.

Message content and images are assembled into a self-contained HTML report. That report is downloaded directly to the user’s computer.

WorkChat Ledger does not upload the completed report or any captured conversation content to Web Vine Studio, cloud storage, an AI service, an analytics provider, or an advertising service.


WorkChat Ledger uses Firefox extension storage to retain limited operational information, including:

• The number of successfully completed trial reports
• User-selected image-quality preferences
• The signed lifetime license key, when entered
• Local license activation status

This information remains inside the user’s browser profile.

It is not transmitted to Web Vine Studio.

The user can remove this locally stored information by uninstalling the add-on or clearing the add-on’s browser storage.


WorkChat Ledger licenses are verified locally using a cryptographic signature.

The add-on does not transmit the license key, activation status, browser identifier, device identifier, or usage history to Web Vine Studio for activation or verification.

Selecting a purchase or support link may open the Web Vine website in a normal browser tab. Visiting the website is separate from the local operation of the add-on and is governed by the Web Vine Studio website Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.


Payments are not processed inside the WorkChat Ledger add-on.

License purchases are completed through the Web Vine Studio website and its WooCommerce checkout. Information voluntarily entered during checkout may be processed by Web Vine Studio, WooCommerce, payment processors, hosting providers, fraud-prevention services, and other providers necessary to complete the transaction.

Conversation content and generated reports are never included in the checkout process.


WorkChat Ledger does not include:

• Usage analytics
• Advertising
• Tracking pixels
• Telemetry
• Crash-reporting services
• Affiliate tracking
• Behavioral profiling
• Third-party analytics libraries

The add-on does not sell, rent, or trade user information.


WorkChat Ledger does not download or execute remote code.

The add-on operates with WhatsApp Web, which is a separate third-party service governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

WorkChat Ledger is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.


Generated reports may contain personal or confidential communications selected by the user.

Downloaded reports remain wherever the user chooses to save them. Web Vine Studio cannot view, retrieve, delete, secure, or recover those locally saved files.

Users are responsible for:

• Using the add-on only with conversations they are authorized to access
• Protecting generated reports
• Following applicable privacy, employment, contractual, records-retention, and communications laws
• Avoiding unauthorized disclosure of another person’s information

Web Vine Studio does not retain conversation content because the add-on does not transmit it to us.

Local extension settings remain in the browser until the user removes the add-on, clears its storage, or resets the browser profile.

Generated reports remain on the user’s computer until the user moves or deletes them.


WorkChat Ledger is intended as a business and documentation utility and is not directed toward children under 13.

The add-on does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other user.


WorkChat Ledger is designed to minimize data exposure by processing conversation content locally and avoiding remote transmission.

No software or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their computer, Firefox profile, downloaded reports, and license key from unauthorized access.


We may update this Privacy Policy when the add-on’s functionality, legal requirements, browser requirements, or business practices change.

The effective date at the top of this policy identifies the latest revision.

Material changes affecting data handling will be disclosed through the add-on listing, the Web Vine Studio website, or an add-on update where appropriate.
