WebP Dropper does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.

All image processing happens locally in your browser. Images you drop into the panel or convert via the context menu are never uploaded anywhere. The extension stores only your own settings (quality, max side, auto-download, notifications) in the browser’s local storage. There are no servers, analytics, cookies or third-party services involved.

Access to websites is requested at install time and is used solely to read the image you invoke “Save as WebP” on. Images are decoded and re-encoded locally and are never sent anywhere. You can revoke this access at any time in about:addons → Permissions; the sidebar will then ask for it again when needed.
