TikQuick's privacy policy

TikQuick is a browser extension that helps with uploading QUALITY videos to TikTok via TikTok Studio.

TikQuick sends anonymous telemetry to mikeden.site every 30 minutes. (specifically https://mikeden.site/projects/tikquick/telemetry/ext-api.php)
The following data is included in each ping:

• A random install ID (a UUID generated on first install, not linked to you in any way)
• The extension version number
• Whether the main toggle is on or off

That's it. Nothing else is sent.

I do not collect your name, email, IP address, TikTok account info,
browsing history, or anything you upload or post. The extension modifies
some outgoing TikTok requests locally in your browser to make uploads work,
but that data never passes through my servers.

You can turn off telemetry at any time from the extension popup.
Once disabled, nothing is sent. Your preference is saved locally.

The install ID and your preferences (toggle state, telemetry on/off) are
stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. They stay on
your device and are not shared with anyone except as described above.
