PushToReader delivers web articles to your e-reader. Here's what we collect and why.

What We Collect

To run the service:
- Your email address (for login)
- Your e-reader's email address (for delivery)
- URLs you send us and the article content we fetch

Automatically:
- A session cookie to keep you logged in
- Server logs (timestamps, hashed IP address) for security
- Operational metrics for reliability — request timings, delivery attempts, error rates, and your plan tier

Payments

If you subscribe to a paid plan, we use Stripe to process payments. We send Stripe your email, an internal user ID, and the plan you chose so it can set up your subscription. We store your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, plan, billing period dates, and cancellation timestamps.

We don't store any payment information — Stripe handles all card data.

Browser Extension

The extension reads the HTML and text of your currently active tab only when you explicitly click the button to send it to your e-reader. It doesn't read pages in the background or in other tabs.

What We Do With It

We use your information to authenticate you, fetch articles, format them, and deliver them to your e-reader. We also keep logs to spot problems and prevent abuse.

We don't sell your data.

How Long We Keep It

Account data stays while your account exists. Article content will remain with your account indefinitely as we build out the service.

Third Parties

We use cloud providers for hosting and email delivery. They process data only to provide their services to us.

Beta Status

PushToReader is currently in beta. Our practices may evolve as we add features, but we'll update this page when they do.

Deleting Your Data

Email info@pushtoreader.com to delete your account and all associated data.
