Pagemates turns every web page into a room. Open the sidebar and you're with the people on the same page, or on the same site.

• Two rooms per page: the exact page, and the whole site
• Live cursors in your color, anchored to page elements, so they land on the same button even with a different screen or zoom
• Clicks, highlights and drawings shown in each person's color (display only: nothing is ever clicked for you)
• Channels of 20 people, like in online games
• You choose what "the page" means: ignore tracking parameters, or cut the address to get one room for a whole section
• Private messages, with a badge and a notification
• Block someone in three steps; signed identities with a 4-character code, so nobody can pose as you
• Every site is joined automatically (you can switch to on-demand in the settings); never in private browsing, never on local addresses
• No account, no server of ours, no analytics. English and French

Privacy: people meet through public Nostr relays, which receive a hash of the page and site, never the address; everything else goes directly between browsers (WebRTC, encrypted).
