부가 기능 정보
Window Master appends menu items to the context menu's for toolbars, tabs and links. These menu items depict the screens on your system plus all open Firefox windows. By clicking or dragging in a menu item, you can move and merge Firefox windows, move and merge tabs, and open links in other windows and on other screens. Window Master was formerly known as Monitor Master.
In order to make the positioning of windows really simple and fast, Window Master subdivides your screen(s) into regions (see Screenshot 1). By clicking or dragging in the Window Master menu item, you may select a combination of regions as a target location. Alternatively, you may select a depicted Firefox window as a target by clicking a single screen region that overlaps with it. This gives rise to six possible actions:
1) From the context menu of toolbars:
a) Merge a window with another open window.
b) Move a window to the indicated screen location.
2) From the context menu of tabs:
a) Move a tab to another open window.
b) Create a new window from a tab at the indicated screen location.
3) From the context menu of links:
a) Open a link in a new tab in an open window.
b) Open a link in a new window at the indicated screen location.
> Your screens need to be configured as an 'extended desktop' for Window Master to function correctly. Window Master identifies the position of your screens and the content of your Firefox windows when Firefox starts, when you click its toolbar button, and when your mouse enters a graphical control.
> The options in the toolbar panel apply to Window Master functionality only!
> Once you are used to Window Master, you may use the options to hide superfluous context menu items (Open Link in New Tab/Window and Move to New Window).
> Users of Private Tab probably want to check the option 'Allow merging of private and non-private tabs'. In other cases, this option has no effect.
> Users of AMD Eyefinity devices may use the region options to compensate bezels.
Version 7.1 contains improvements for multiple-process Firefox.
Please donate to enable me to make the following improvements:
> Tools and functions for groups of tabs and groups of windows.
> A return of the textual menu items which many people seemed to prefer.
> Integration with other popular tab extensions.
FIX: No attempt is made any more to merge a tab with a window where only one of both is multi-process.
FIX: The start-up positioning delay was set to 2s because e10s is slower and still has layout issues on start-up (why?).
FIX: To reduce flashing from asynchronous painting, the canvas is redrawn less opaque after it is hidden.
FIX: The scale at which content is drawn is now correctly initialized after start-up.
FIX: The mouse position is now stored for use after asynchronous drawing routines return.
FIX: The extension menu item is no more removed from context menu's when submenu's are closed.
FIX: The message listener in the content frame is now removed on extension uninstall.
FIX: Failure of swapBrowsersAndCloseOther (such as for 'about:' pages) in multi-process windows no more affects other tabs to be merged.
