LinkWell browser extension — privacy

WHAT IT SENDS
When you click Save, or choose Save to LinkWell from the right-click menu, the extension sends the address, title, description and preview image of that page, plus any note you type, to your own LinkWell vault. Nothing else leaves your browser.

WHAT IT STORES IN YOUR BROWSER
One pairing key, which identifies this browser to your LinkWell account, and the account label shown in the popup. Nothing else. Removing the browser in the LinkWell app revokes that key immediately.

WHAT IT NEVER DOES
It cannot read your browsing history — it holds no permission that would allow it. It runs no background content scripts, collects no analytics, shows no adverts, and sells nothing to anyone.

WHO IT TALKS TO
Only LinkWell's own backend. No third parties, no advertising or tracking services.

KEEPING AND DELETING
Saved links stay in your vault until you delete them, or until you delete your account, which removes them.
