This is a privacy enhancement tool that allows the user to change the title and icon displayed on the current tab. It is useful when you switch tabs and you don't want others to know what is on the other tab by reading the tab title or by looking at the tab icon. Note that there are some pages that block extensions from making changes to them like the Mozilla add-ons page and the new tab page.
