GlanceOff is a porn blocker and NSFW image filter for Chrome. It covers explicit and revealing pictures on the pages you visit before you see them, and keeps adult websites from opening at all. Every picture is judged by an AI image model that runs inside your browser, on your computer. No picture, page, address or result is ever sent anywhere.

WHAT IT DOES
• Blurs explicit images, or blacks them out if you prefer. Pictures stay blurred while they are being checked, so nothing slips through while a page loads, and the safe ones are cleared in a moment.
• Works on every site: search results and image search, social media, news, shopping, forums.
• Blocks known adult sites, and pages whose address or search has an explicit word in it, with a calm block page in their place.
• Choose what is covered: explicit content only (nudity, pornography, explicit drawings), or explicit and immodest content (lingerie, swimwear and suggestive pictures as well).
• Your own lists: always block a site, or allow one you trust.
• A short setup when you install it walks you through each choice, with examples.

ACCOUNTABILITY, IF YOU WANT IT
For anyone who wants to quit porn or keep a promise to themselves, GlanceOff can put a moment to think between you and a weaker setting. Making protection stronger is always free. Turning covering off, allowing a site or loosening a setting goes through the accountability partner you choose: a waiting period of up to 48 hours, a long random passphrase you type out by hand (pasting is refused), or both. With a GlanceOff account, the same partner protects the GlanceOff app on your Android phone, and a trusted person chosen in the app, who says yes or no by email, works here too.

• Pictures are judged on your computer. Nothing about your browsing is collected or sent: no addresses, no pictures, no results, no counts.
• No account needed: without one, nothing is sent at all.
• With an account, only your account, this browser's GlanceOff settings and change requests go to GlanceOff, so your partner can approve changes.

GlanceOff is self care, not surveillance. It never reports what you look at, to anyone. No filter is perfect, so now and then a picture may be covered that did not need to be, or one may get through.
