Doorman โ Mindful Website Gatekeeper ์ ์์: BEE
A hotel doorman for your browser. Answer a password or a puzzle before entering time-sink sites. Friction, not a wall.

Doorman puts a polite hotel doorman at the door of the websites that eat your time.
Before you can enter Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, YouTube โ whatever you choose โ the
Doorman asks for a password or a quick puzzle. It only takes a few seconds, but that
small pause is often all it takes to turn an autopilot habit back into a decision.
This isn't a hard blocker you'll rip out in a moment of weakness. It's friction, by
design: the door opens for a guest who means it. It only asks you to mean it. And
if you want a firmer hand, an optional daily time limit can close a door until tomorrow
โ off by default, and you choose which doors it applies to.
What you can do
โข ๐ Choose your challenge: a password, or randomized puzzles.
โข ๐งฉ Twelve puzzle types โ a distorted CAPTCHA, Math & logic, Memory, Typing,
Number sequences, Word scramble, Name the country, Name the flag, Spot it on
the map, Pin it on the globe, Trivia, and Confession โ at Easy / Medium /
Hard / Extreme.
โข ๐ Spin a globe you can turn and zoom, and plant a pin on the country you're
asked for. Drawn from real coastlines, entirely offline.
โข ๐ Tune any game to taste: which operations appear in the arithmetic, whether
the memory pads play tones, how long a typing code runs, or whether geography
gives you a line-up to pick from or makes you type the answer. Each panel
shows a live example of what you'd actually be asked.
โข โ Confession: write out, in your own hand, that you would rather spend the next
hour here than anywhere else. It takes a few seconds. It is surprisingly hard to
finish typing.
โข ๐บ Real geography: identify a country from its capital, its flag, or its shape
highlighted on a world map.
โข ๐ก Stuck on a scramble? Hints unlock as you wait โ a clue at 10s, most of the
letters at 20s, the answer at 30s.
โข ๐ฏ Protect any sites you like, each with its own settings and even its own password.
โข ๐ฐ Schedule protection: set your default hours once โ all the time, or only on
certain days and times (e.g. weekdays 9โ5) โ and override them per site.
โข ๐ Decide how long a visit lasts: while a tab stays open, for a few minutes, until
the tab closes, all day, or challenge every single visit.
โข โณ Set a time limit: a countdown per visit, or a daily allowance per site, with
the time left on the toolbar icon. When the allowance is gone, the doors close
until tomorrow.
โข ๐ See how your habits actually move: how often you turned back, how often you
went in, and how much time each door cost you โ all of it computed and stored on
your own machine, and switchable off entirely if you'd rather not know.
โข ๐ช A deliberately hard-to-reach OFF switch โ turning the Doorman off requires
passing a challenge, not a single click.
โข ๐ช Commit mode for when you really mean it: while it's on, turning Doorman off
demands a gauntlet of hard puzzles โ no password shortcut.
โข ๐ Fully bilingual โ English and French, including the puzzles and trivia
(French mode adds France/francophone questions). Pick it in the tour, change it
anytime in Settings.
โข ๐จ A friendly first-run tour and a classy art-deco design.
Private by default
Doorman has no account, no servers, and no tracking. Everything โ your site list, your
schedules, your (hashed) passwords โ stays on your device. It never sends anything
anywhere. See the privacy policy for details.
Make time online a choice. Let the Doorman hold the door.
