There's a studio behind every Steam store page trying to make rent. Devs Gotta Eat gives you a rough sense of how that's going.

It adds one row to the store page, just under "All Reviews":

EST. REVENUE: Gross $2.3M – $5.6M
Net $694K – $1.7M

Gross is estimated units multiplied by the game's list price. Net then deducts regional pricing, discounts, refunds, Steam's 30% cut, and VAT — matching the model used by steam-revenue-calculator.com, so the figures are comparable.

ESTIMATES, NOT ACCOUNTING
Sales are estimated from public review counts using the Boxleiter method, a heuristic with genuinely wide error bars. That is exactly why the extension shows a RANGE rather than a single confident number. Treat the output as order-of-magnitude, never as fact.

PRIVACY
No tracking, no analytics, no accounts, no data leaves your browser except requests to Steam's own servers for the review count and price.
