What this extension transmits, and where:
- Grades and attendance you saved in CateLMS are written into the SIS gradebook
tab you have open, using your existing SIS sign-in. The extension does not send
them anywhere else.
- Capture transcript (only when you click Preview/Submit in the popup): the
transcript page you are viewing in your SIS is sent to your own CateLMS site
and stored in that student's record. This is the "website content" and
"personally identifying information" declared at install.
- Field mappings (which gradebook column is which) are stored in the browser.
If you opt in, a confirmed mapping — CSS selectors only, never student data —
is shared with your CateLMS site so colleagues on the same gradebook layout
inherit it.
- The extension contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party
services. It never contacts any server other than the CateLMS site you
configured.

Data is retained by your CateLMS site under your school's agreement with
RealCove LC and can be deleted by your school's CateLMS administrator.
