Odoo Developer Toolkit is a browser extension built for Odoo developers who want to move faster without leaving the page they're working on.
Developer mode, done right

Toggle ?debug=1 or ?debug=assets with one click. Unlike manually editing the URL, it reloads the page while keeping you on the exact same model, record, and view — no more getting bounced back to the dashboard. A live status badge shows you when the session and URL disagree, so "I can't turn off debug mode" never happens again.
A real element inspector, not a tooltip

Hover any field or button to preview it, then click to lock the inspector panel onto it — so your mouse can drift over other fields while you read without losing your place. The panel shows the exact XML node from the view's arch, every XML attribute, and the full Python metadata: field type, relation, compute method, depends, related, onchange, and selection values. Buttons show their method name and call type with a ready-to-search Python stub.
A dependency graph that's actually accurate

Most "show me the connections" tools dump every field in the model. This one builds a focused subgraph for exactly what you clicked: its comodel if it's relational, the fields it depends on for computation, what it's related to, and what would break if you changed it. Pan, zoom, and click any node for details.
Module management without leaving the page

Search, filter by state, and Install, Upgrade, or Remove any module directly from the panel — no need to go hunting through Settings → Apps.
Built-in RPC console

Run any model.method(kwargs) call against your current session and see the formatted JSON result, right inside the panel.
Everything runs against your own Odoo instance using your existing logged-in session. No external servers, no data collection, no accounts required.
