such a great addon, i like the manual double click right now, is it possible to extend the features in the future? i'm looking for something like:
- forbid duplicates
- download the largest version of the image if it's referenced/linked
- download in the same pattern for a selected area of the page
this would truly shave time off when it becomes scalable like that

yeffeɣ-d deg 8 éveThanks for the rating, glad you like it.
Your feature requests are kinda asking for a lot though. Detecting duplicates is way out of scope for a simple addon, trying to find linked bigger versions of an image is a logistical nightmare while a user can do it himself easily, and downloading all in an area is a very tricky thing to do. Determining the "pattern" will often not have the result users want either and will be heavily affected by every individual website's structure.
I get the feeling one of your underlying problems can be solved another way: I use my other addon Copy Selected Links to get the full-res links of images in a thumbnail gallery, and throw them into jdownloader or similar programs to get all the full-size pics. Maybe that solves one of your problems?

yeffeɣ-d deg egy éveAs mentioned many times before (I should add this to the FAQ part), it depends on the website, this observation is not global. Many servers provide filename extensions one way or another, but e.g. twitter doesn't in any way (because websites don't need to) and my addon can't just take a wild guess as it. There will be an extension if the extension is communicated by the server as per standards. What a blown-out-of-proportion thing to give a permanent 1 star for anyway, as if that's all there is to it and as if it's any addon's fault a server decides not to expose extensions. Stupid "reviews" - more like baseless whines - like this are why I'm done developing for the public anyway.- Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 18347152, 2 éve

yeffeɣ-d deg egy éveSorry, they probably detect hotlinking (i.e. direct downloading) specifically to stop addons like this. Thank you for giving a reasonable rating to a functioning product, unlike all the petulant reviewers that go straight to 1 star for the silliest reasons as if it's a completely defective piece of junk. yeffeɣ-d deg 2 éveSome websites do things to stop addons like this from working, and I can't change that. But the addon definitely works on sites that don't take such countermeasures. I use it myself in the latest firefox, as do many other happy reviewers. Don't use reviews for misplaced and false bug reports, they belong in an email with proper information like which site you're trying to use it on. Simply writing "doesn't work" is an utter waste of everyone's time and blatantly wrong.- Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur ragernothingworks, 2 éveIt just does not work, you can click all you like, it won't download on Firefox.

yeffeɣ-d deg 2 éveSorry but I'm using firefox and this addon myself, and it definitely works, as it does for other people too. There are some sites that do things that prevent addons like this from working (e.g. clickable overlays on images), you may be trying to use it on such a site. Fair enough it doesn't work then but that's no basis to say this addon never works. Please use reviews only for serious, well prepared review content. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 17999994, 2 éveamazing does exactly what it says the hover button works best for my use case!
