Earlybird 51では、送信できていました。

1.2.9a.xpiにて、55.0a1 (2017-04-06) (64-bit)での動作も確認できました。

旧版で更新されちゃうので、1.2.9.3aが良いですね
リリース版期待しています

現象を確認しました。なるべく早く対応し、この場でご報告させていただきます。但し、それまではConfirm-Addressを無効にしてお使いいただくか、Nightlyの使用を辞めてbeta版もしくはrelease版をお使い頂ければと存じます。

I reproduced the issue, which Thunderbird Nightly (ver.52a0) disables sending email while Confirm-Address is enabled. I set higher priority to fix this issue and will announce on releasing fixed version. Until then, I would like those who using Thunderbird Nightly to disable Confirm-Address, or, switch to use beta or release version of Thunderbird. Thanks for your patience.
