- What We Collect
When you create an account, we store your name, email address, and authentication provider (Google, GitHub, or email). When you send emails to your feed address, we process the email content (text, attachments, URLs) to generate podcast episodes. We also store billing information through our payment processor, Stripe.
- How We Use Your Data
Generate podcast episodes from your submitted content
Manage your account and subscription
Send transactional emails (episode published, failures, billing)
Improve the service and fix bugs
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your content to train AI models.
- Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate PodBrewer:
Anthropic (Claude) and/or Mistral AI for script generation. Your document text is sent to these providers to create the podcast script.
Inworld AI, Voxtral (Mistral), or ElevenLabs for text-to-speech synthesis. The generated script is sent to your chosen TTS provider.
Stripe for payment processing. We never see or store your full card number.
Cloudflare R2 for audio file and document storage.
Mailgun for inbound email processing and transactional email delivery.
Fly.io for application hosting.
Neon for database hosting.
- EU-Hosted Option
If you select Mistral as your LLM provider and Voxtral as your TTS provider, your content is processed entirely within the European Union. This combination provides a GDPR-compliant processing stack with no data leaving EU borders for content processing. Your account data and audio files are still stored on our US-based infrastructure (Fly.io, Cloudflare R2, Neon).
- Data Retention
Audio files are retained as long as your account is active.
Source documents uploaded to R2 are automatically deleted after 30 days. External URLs referenced in episodes are not affected.
Inbound email content is retained for processing and audit purposes.
Credits expire 3 months after purchase or grant.
- Cookies
We use a single HTTP-only session cookie (pb_session) to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.
- Your Rights
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes your feeds, episodes, and personal data. To request a data export or ask questions about your data, email contact@content.podbrewer.com.
