The extension doesn't work at all for me. Running on Firefox 122.0.1 (64 bit version).

This is a shame as it's something that should be built into Firefox.

Doesn't work reliably. When works, results in noticeable flickering(*).
(*) I suspect that it's because it allows "default" tab selection to be done first.

"Select After Closing Current" seems to be a better choice: works reliably so far and flickering is less(*)
(*) though it also seems to be not able to completely prevent default tab selection

Doesn't work! Enabled and Disabled works for a couple of minutes then it quits! Had hopes but alas it doesn't!

Funktioniert leider nur in 9 von 10 Fällen (wenn z.B. ein Tab im Hintergrund geöffnet wird und der aktive Tab geschlossen wird geht er manchmal nur zum rechten Tab).
Das Add-On wechselt genau so wie bei den Konkurrenzbrowsern erst zum rechten Tab und springt dann in den linken.
Einziger Browser der das nativ ohne Add-On kann ist vivaldi dafür staucht der FF aber nicht die Tableiste bis ins unendliche.

Ich denke nicht das ein Add-On diese Funktionalität je besser bewerkstelligen kann als jetzt da der Unterbau es einfach nicht zulässt.

As tab mix plus no longer works, this is certainly a welcome app. It does what it says, it transfers focus to the tab on the left when closing your current tab - But! - it does not prevent the tab on the right from loading, as tab mix plus did! So, even if not focused, your youtube video, or whatever, will play merrily away, even if you are not focusing on it.

If the developers can get Firefox to 'not load' the tab on the right of the closed tab, before it quickly focuses on the tab to the left, then this app will be perfect!

Did exactly what it was supposed to. One of the functions I used from Tab Mix Plus which is being nixed in FF57. Thanks!

Edit March 2018: It still works, but I have to disable and then re-enable the addon each time I start Firefox. ANd sometimes it hovers on the right window before switching to the left.
I mentioned this on their github site but no response in months. Shame. 5 star down to 2.
