Tarjam Plus translates text from the Firefox toolbar: popup translation, full page, visible area, and selection. It includes TTS, optional local history, themes, and JSON export/import of settings. 130+ languages; Moroccan Arabic / Darija uses Google’s standard Arabic (ar) code—there is no separate Darija code in Google’s API.

Important: The add-on has no backend. When you translate, text is sent to Google’s public Translate endpoint (translate.googleapis.com, client=gtx). Preferences and history stay in Firefox local storage on your device.

Features: reverse translate, swap languages, context menu (selection / page / link), optional auto-translate on page load (exclusions list), batch size and delay for page mode, compact UI, auto-copy result (optional).

Permissions: activeTab, storage, clipboard read/write, context menus, <all_urls> (content script for page/selection), and https://translate.googleapis.com/* for requests.
