Still not working Assegnate 1 su 5 stelle
I have already enabled cookies from anyone, it was no good
Stop Working a week ago Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle
As Responded by jonmyers, Enable cookies in Thunderbird and not the browser. Works just fine now. If Philipp the Developer added this note in the Add-ons description a lot of complaints would not be written.
I'd much rather fix the cookie bug by properly making an exception or enabling cookies only for the login dialog. I'll see if I can get to this soon though. Thanks for the feedback!
Stopped working this week 45.2.0 Assegnate 2 su 5 stelle
Stopped working this week 45.2.0
Prev review vanished - Got it working Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle
My previous review (which seems to have vanished) indicated that Provider for Google Calendar was not working. I played around a but and found (I think) that reinstalling Exchange EWS Provider fixed it
Sorry the previous review vanished. If it contained URLs it is auto-flagged for review by the addons.mozilla.org reviewers and there are some other cases.
This one seemed to stick though. Thanks for the note on the EWS provider. There is a bug in some versions of it that would cause the new calendar dialog to not work, all you need to do here is disable the EWS provider while adding new calendars.
I'm glad things are working now!
Stopped working this week Assegnate 3 su 5 stelle
The addon stopped working this week after updating. I have cookies enabled. Every time I start thunderbird it asks me to sign in into Google, but if I click on the "Next" button nothing happens.
Enable Cookies in THUNDERBIRD (not your Browser) and it works Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle
It works again, but you must enable cookies in Thunderbird, not your browser, as the stupid popup window tells you. Tools>Options>Privacy>Accept Cookies......
Unable to Authenticate Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle
Something happened overnight. I cannot get Thunderbird to authenticate access to my Calendar accounts.
Instead, I get routed to a Google help page about enabling cookies.
There's no indication of what to do.
Coming here has helped - but this isn't apparent - would be very useful to have an alert from either T-bird or Provider
Unable to Authenticate Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle
This is a great plugin. I have been using it for over 5 years. As of last week unable to authenticate to new calendars. I tried the cookie setting but not working. Something change with either Thunderbird or Goggle. Please advise on possible fix. Let me know if you need any additional info to help.
Please get back to me via the support email and I am sure we can sort things out!
Flawed but necessary Assegnate 2 su 5 stelle
Necessary but it is a pain to have to log in every time I open my windows desktop computer.. especially as it takes three distinct steps and the accept button is not visible and the window not resizable. Tab key works most of the time but not always.. plus I get two emails on my phone and computer to tell me I have logged.. I know that.. and it has been a pain doing it! And I have enabled cookies but not improvement.
Google Authentication Currently Broken - see below for fix. Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle
Great extension, but now only authenticates with Google correctly if you have cookies enabled.
Thunderbird/Google/Addon changed something, so now you need to change Options / Privacy / "Accept Cookies from sites" to ticked.
("Keep cookies until I close Thunderbird" will work).
Essential addon if you need to work with Google calendars.
Authentication Issue is not in plugin, it's thunderbird Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle
Thunderbird changed some cookie settings and broke this plugin. It's less on the developer (who did a great job writing it) and more on the user to fix their settings like he suggested a few times. The other review is spot on, and my new version works after I add the cookie exception.
Anyone having problems with authentication (oauth) check your cookie settings and exceptions. Worked great for me (thanks again).
Great addon, but authentication broken in the current version Assegnate 3 su 5 stelle
If you have authentication issues, enable cookies in the preferences. It worked for me.
Authentication issues Assegnate 2 su 5 stelle
I am having similar authentication issues as others. I'm repeatedly being asked to sign in to Provider, however, the process cannot be completed because the hyperlinks aren't working. The 'allow' and 'deny' buttons are greyed out and inaccessible. In the same window, the links to 'Provider for Google calendar' and 'Account Permissions' are not greyed out but clicking gets null results. Double clicking these links partly closes Thunderbird, i.e., the program is still open in task manager but the icon has disappeared and Thunderbird can't be accessed unless I close in task manager and re-launch.
I'm using Thunderbird 45.2.0 Win 8.1 and Avast Free Antivirus and I realize this behavior (inactive links) may not due to the add-on.
I have tried to authenticate after disabling the antivirus, but this doesn't help. I've checked and there are no Firewall issues, and other links such as email, work fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Lightning and Provider many times.
I have checked the config editor and there are duplicate registry keys listed for Google calendar. I don't know which ones I should remove, if any.
By this point I would be happy to settle for repeated login prompting if I could at least follow through with authentication and access my calendar. Perhaps other Thunderbird users have resolved their own hyperlink issues. Could you shed some light on any of this?
It keeps connection just until you close the log-in window Assegnate 3 su 5 stelle
On opening it now requires to log-in into your Google account. After having logged in, you need anyway to keep that window open, or your connection will be cut off. In that case, I think the only solution is to close and re-open Thunderbird.
It's a good add-on, anyway.
I'd be interested to hear more about this via support. The login window should close itself after log in and it should be working then
Problems with authenticaion Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle
This is a great app but as per the previous review the autheticaion has broken in the recent update so nothing is working. Tried reverting to V 2.7 problem remains will try V 1.0.4
We've solved this via email, it was a cookies issue. I'll look into the cookie exceptions code to handle the case where cookies are disabled in the preferences.
Unstable, slow, but usefull Assegnate 3 su 5 stelle
Sometimes it crash the Thunderbird and do full sync every time.
Full sync is significally slow, thunderbird becomes unresponsive.
calendar.threading.latency helps. But TB still CRASHES a lot.
Please try changing calendar.threading.latency to 90 in the advanced config editor (Preferences > Advanced > General > Config Editor). Let me know if it works!
Dosn´t work on Windows 10 Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle
wery good add-on. I have Windows Vista and Thunderbird 45.2.0. The Syncronisation ist very good. If I try ist with Windows 10, Thunderbird works for a long time and don´t stop. Can any Body help me.Questa recensione riguarda una versione precedente (2.7) del componente aggiuntivo.

Very good, but can't handle more than 5 calendars Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle
Works well and is quite useful. I have been using the add-on with 4 calendars for some time. However, I tried adding 3 more calendars today and it caused Thunderbird to hang. Only way Thunderbird recovers is by force quitting, starting in safe mode, removing those calendars and restarting.Questa recensione riguarda una versione precedente (2.7) del componente aggiuntivo.
