A toolbar that aids in navigating and editing Wikipedia.
Always loved greasemonkey. The best thing since sliced monkey. Seems to not be showing the install dialog in Firefox 29 though -- but I'm sure this will get fixed soon.
PS. Try http://monkeyguts.com for a decent replacement script site, though it's brand new and doesn't have a user base yet.
I was actually just looking for something that would let me drag around large full-size images, and this includes that ability. But now that I installed this, I find myself using it all the time during normal web navigation. I pretty much never have to click scroll bars anymore. A great idea and works very smoothly and reliably, with more options than you'll ever need. Simply awesome. Thank you.
Works great, thanks! I suggest remembering the last folder chosen, and an option to auto-select all available albums on the page by default. These would cut down on the number of clicks required.
I've always liked this, so I'm just reporting a bug that I'm sure will be fixed soon: First release of FF 4.0 seems to break the whole extension (1.12). I get a tiny box appear instead of the menu listing the extensions. Thanks for a great add-on, just hope I can use it again soon!
The Firefox community better get it out of their collective heads that they need to copy Chrome in order to compete with it. The floating URLs in Chrome and lack of a real status bar are some of the main reasons I choose Firefox instead. Maintain the differences that separate the two browsers. We won't make a better Chrome browser than Google can make, and we shouldn't be trying to do that anyway.
This is a great theme with a great color scheme. However, that's pretty much all most people want out of it. It happens to be the only decent "dark" theme around.
The actual launch images are extraneous (to most people) and kind of annoying at times. Especially this latest update, with the tab bar getting filled up with tiny launch graphics, and the background tabs being made semi-transparent.
It would be great if you could release an alternate version of this just the colors and no launch imagery. I think many people would be interested in that.
The kind of thing that should probably be included by default in every browser these days. I like that it's not a regular toolbar button, but rather in the address bar, showing up and hiding itself automatically depending on whether or not a page is editable. Nice job, I hope it catches on.Questa recensione riguarda una versione precedente (1.1) del componente aggiuntivo.
Wow, lots of features and customizability here. I was expecting a little point-and-click thing just to grab a color (and it is as simple as that if you want it to be), but what I got was a professional tool. Well designed, intuitive, easy to use. Really nice job.
Some of the pictured options are only available in older versions, probably due to new versions of Firefox breaking them. It would be nice to get them back sometime though.
It would be particularly nice if this extension were updated to use the latest FlowPlayer version, as it currently uses a very old version (1.21, while the latest is 2.22) and it's sort of buggy.
I still like this better than the default YouTube viewer, if only for the fact that it doesn't start videos playing on page load, meaning that I can load lots of videos in other tabs without having to go stop each one so they don't all play at once. That one feature alone is worth it.
Don't know what the negative comments here are referring to. I've been using this extension for what must be a year now, with FF2 and now 3, and I've never had a problem. It adds a simple feature that should've always been part of Firefox to begin with, and it does so reliably and unobtrusively.
Great idea and good start, but it's not that useful yet. The created sections don't interact individually with any browser elements other than the ones inside the sections, that the extension creates (its own mini-navbars). Loading bookmarks or anything else using any button cause the tab to navigate away from the split-screen view. With some more work this could be extremely useful -- it just needs the ability to be controlled via Firefox elements, and not just its own buttons.
It's a nice-looking effect, but there are a few problems that make me want to show my friends but then get rid of it.
1) The effect is too slow
2) There's a sizable delay when switching tabs before the effect even begins
3) There are no options, even to disable it
If the delay were gotten rid of, and some options were added, like speed of animation, frame rate, quick enable/disable, and maybe some choices for different effects, this would be a more practical add-on. Currently its nice to look at once as a novelty, but you just can't use it during regular browsing.
