With user agents list **that** outdated it is pretty useless.

I do appreciate huge efforts invested in it though.

Too much Assegnate 2 su 5 stelle

There are roughly estimated half a million functions I did not want, changing firefox settings. For example, it adds DNT to every requests without ever asking. The interface needs improvements. I don't want to manage the whitelist with a yaml-array.

All I wanted was a Random Agent Spoofer but this caused a whole lot of problems only because of functionality which I either don't want or already have using normal Firefox-features or popular extensions for the specific purpose.

Spoofing your User agent is not enough anymore Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle

There's really no other add-on like this.

Simple user agent spoofing is useless for privacy! the browser, and operating system can be correctly guessed with current fingerprinting techniques. see EFF pantoclick. browsers send out way too much identifying information. forget about cookies. your resolution, installed fonts, timezone along canvas and webgl can be used against you and those can't be easily changed.

The best deal to privacy is to look like everyone else, but it's impossible when now days everything auto updates so frequently, now user agents are about 5-6 versions behind. not good at all.

This addon needs easier way of editing user agents! it's frustrating to wait for developer updates which may never happen.

I see developer has significantly halted development because of Mozilla's current path to self destruction.

More complete than the other addons. Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle

I don't get some of the reviews, it's not an IP anonymizer, it's an extension to change the user agent ! And it works, I've tested it. It can't work on every website, because no agent spoofer can.

Advantages: It's the more complete of all those I've tried. It has the versions numbers, unless the other addons. It is very complete, a bit too complete for me, Digging in the list is painful, dev should find a visual way to do it. In the list: I prefer to check the ones I want to use, that the ones I want to exclude!

Sorry but the Random ip doesn't work for all web site.
You can see the difference between : and ;

Can you do an update please because there is no privacy.
Thank you very much. I like your job.

It doesn't work with Firefox 43.0.1

Awesome Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle

I don't even use this to spoof my browser (I find doing so breaks too many websites and affects functionality), but the load of additional options this add-on offers makes it worth having anyway. Thanks!

Really excellent work Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle

Gorgeous interface, does what it says, and even allows editing of individual OS / browser string combinations. Seems to remember edits - haven't tested restarting browser as yet.

Useful but... Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle

Basically this add-on does what it is supposed to do (at least AFAIK). However, there are some issues I couldn't get around.
For example, Gmail won't let me type any texts with RAS enabled. Right-click paste works, as well as typing on any other pages. I don't want to whitelist Gmail/Google.

And would it be possible to get rid of that "Browser Profile Changed" balloon, popping up every now and then? It's very annoying, especially when Firefox is minimised, e.g., there's another application is running on the screen.

Edit #2: And oh, whenever I'm forced to disable RAS in order to get a site working (whitelisting does not always work), please, keep the settings. Now they are reset.
