Pale Moon & Qute Classic, the perfect combination. Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle

Since the end of life for FireFox ESR 24, I was facing the issue, that I might lose the clean and simple UI provide by Qute Classic, since it is no longer compatible with the new ESR version. However, Pale Moon allows me to keep using the theme, that I used for years, while still having a up-to-date browser regarding security. Great!

As close to perfect as it gets. Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle

This is a lovely clear, sane theme for those who like a bit of colour but nothing too fancy, clear lines between toolbars and other good visual signals. Looks fabulous with Cyberfox. This is just a beautiful, functional "old FF style" theme. Thank you very much indeed.

A clear favorite Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle

Family members find this theme comfortably familiar and easy to comprehend.

The "Open a New Tab" button will not be in Qute Classic to the right of the last tab, so you have to move it to the Navigation Bar from another theme. In that other theme, open the Customize Toolbar window, and the Open New Tab button will change to a "+" over at the far right. Drag that "+" to the Navigation Bar, close the Customize Toolbar window, enable Qute Classic and re-start. You will now have a colorful Open New Tab button in the Navigation Bar. (When changing themes the button will remain there until you reverse the procedure, dragging the "+" back to the far right of the Tabs Bar.)

Ryan, job well done!!! You really did a superb job in creating Qute Classic. I am using the theme now with Firefox 21.0. All the theme components I use and see have been addressed beautifully. Great, great job!!!

p.s. I especially like that you retained the larger toolbar icons of Qute pre-release 1.0.

Very nice, works great for me

I wish this worked on OSX. Qute was the main reason I was stuck on FF 3.6 until this weekend, when the end of support forced me to upgrade. I might abandon FF altogether without it.

Works fine with FF6.0.2 and almost exactly what is was looking for. (I'd prefer more spartan pre-XP icons, and the Close Tab looks slightly wrong, and I dislike the rounded corners in the bars, but I guess I can manage...) I don't miss the New Tab button at all. Wish there was some way of getting rid of the distracting and space-hogging site identifier in Address Bar, the bare URL is enough for me; likewise with the Bookmark star. Pure bliss to have tabs back below other stuff, where they logically belong for my usage preference. (Not sure if vanilla FF6 offers this option, I couldn't/didn't linger long enough to check even that.) Thank you for your work -- a work well done! Been a while since I've been able to even guess what the FF UI team is smoking.

While I miss the original Qute, I'm glad somebody ported a version of Qute to Firefox 4+. The theme works fine in Firefox 6 if you disable compatibility checks, manually bump your copy of Qute, or use the Addon Compatibility Reporter extension.

lovely theme, needs upgrade Assegnate 3 su 5 stelle

JillB has mentioned it: "I have a big black rectangle where the minimize/maximize/close buttons should be."
me, too. using windows 7 h.p. , firefox 5.0

I love Qute, but this isn't quite "there" yet for FF 4+

The tabs look "wrong", and I was surprised to find how much I miss the "add tab" button. Qute 3++ is much closer, though it's "add tab" button is a bit garish...

This unfortunately is the best Qute for Firefox 4. It's not as good as Qute 4.1.1 which despite the name only works up to Firefox 3.6. It'd be nice if this one could use or give us the option to the icons from Qute 4.1.1.

Missing buttons at top right Assegnate 3 su 5 stelle

Using Windows 7 Family Edition and FF 4.0, I have a big black rectangle where the minimize/maximize/close buttons should be. Too bad - I've been using Qute for years, but it's unusable as it stands now..

always the same problem Assegnate 1 su 5 stelle

"Bookmark this Page" and "Open a New Tab" Assegnate 4 su 5 stelle

Love the theme. By far the cleanest one I have seen. Although, it removes the "Bookmark this Page" and "Open a New Tab", 2 features I use quite often.

Why are this and so many other themes not available on MacOSX? I used variants of Qute for years (since pre-1.0), but since FF 3.5 hardly any themes are available on OSX.

I'd love to use this theme.
