That would be amazing if you could add the main icon to the ff's toolbar, with discreet counts over the icon each time a site blocks a popup. & clicking on the icon would open the page control whitelist :)
I don't know if it works it's my first trial with following issue:
whitelisted hosts don't allow the addon to ignore popups..
I wanted to put in my feedback that mirrors the last two most recent reviews. I like what I've seen it do, but the lack of a button for the toolbar for accessing the lists keeps me from giving it 5 stars.
It blocks most of annonying pop-ups, but I agree with decembre's review:
- The Alert Bar is very big and it should have a key name for an 'id' or 'class' in the element to let us customize it using Stylish or another addon like that. Please change this, it shouldn't be difficult to program.
- The bar should have an option to add the current URL to the Whitelist directly, instead of having to go to Addons tab, look for Page Control and finally access the Whitelist Button... With those two changes the extension would really worth it.
Just need some improve for usability: - An minimal way to alert us for blocked popup (the actual Alert massage take too much space : I make a usertsyle (request : Can you add an specific id or class to this message element to easily tweak it by CSS?) to mimimize it at tha bottom of page and maximize it on hover (like that it is better) - A way to directly add the popu in the white list.Actualy we need to go to extention pa
I use keyboard shortcuts as much as possible, and many of the popups could not be closed without clicking on them. I hate to reach for the mouse just to close one of the darned things. I've just been testing so far, no real-world use, but this thing is doing great. I like that it uses a whitelist instead of a blacklist. Very good idea! I know it may not be what everyone needs, but it's exactly what I need.
