I want to give this a better rating, because it's an amazing app, and extremely useful for me. But unfortunately when my computer restarted the other day, OneTab lost all the tabs I had saved. I had over 50 tabs save, some of which where very important, so this is devastating. And if the app can't do what it is supposed to do, then it is pointless.
I installed One-tab after installing Firefox 57. I set up several tab lists and it worked OK. I then didn't use One-tab for a couple of weeks and all my tab lists have disappeared from One-tab.
Microsoft shut down my PC for a critical update and lost all my tabs!
This has a bad habit of losing links. Yes, I read all the update info and etc. Two times is two times too many. I do however still use it to shut down my ridiculousness then copy the links to a notepad.
Great extentsion, highly recommend if you open a lot of tabs...just push the one tab and bing a fresh slate...Thanks Guys&Girls Love your extentsion....keep up the Good work...I Am a fan and a Believer:)
This has turned out to be a very stable addon, I installed it on all my Firefox and Chrome browsers. I have over 7,000 pages saved. The export is ultra easy to use and because it goes to a basic text file that can be copy/cut/paste anywhere I really feel safe working with thousands of links.
Allowing the naming of tabs makes finding your favorite porn sites, i mean business sites easy. Icons area visible. You can password the tabs/pages if using a shared system.
I run Process Lasso and monitor memory before and after moving tabs into OneTab - As the Author says 95% savings I can't say I have had those results however I can verify over 50%! Those who run Foxfire with lots of tabs and notice everything slows down and possible crash will see instant results.
I have tens of thousands of bookmarks, so many I can't find anything, OneTab is a simple way to keep those sites close without filling your toolbar and you still have the option to save bookmarks/favorites as normal.
This is a good backup solution with a simple interface.
Did I say it's free? Run it for a week or two, if you like it than send the Author a few $ to buy a case of beer.
Thank you for making a free tool that helps many people, I look forward to using your other tools. What is your homepage? I will list your program on some of my domains.

I love this add-on and have always used it on Chrome. Since switching to the Firefox Browser I was glad to see that OneTab is just as useful here. I save a lot of memory on my iMac when I click this extension, but that's only because I am a tab opening queen and sometimes have 15-20 tabs open at one time. The only reason I reduced 1 star is because on both Chrome and Firefox, I have never been able to figure out where past groups are stored. I am only able to access links that from the homepage when you click on the extension. Ex: If that 1 page only stores 10 groups, old ones continue to be lost when the new ones I am saving replace the links on that 1 page. That was harder to explain in my words than I thought it would be!
Thanks a lot!!! A little question: could you implement "Single Window Mode" in your addon? I talk about Firefox 57 to run only in a single window (like single windows mode setting that there was in tabmixplus"). Best Regards and sorry for my english.
Love it, I'm using One Tabs in Chrome and Firefox. It's like read later extensions for me. It's sad to see some moron give very low rating for this such a wonderful extentions.
The extension I use to keep my sessions, close in one click the tabs when I have many many, and save them. One of the best memory saver.
Pin the OneTab tab in Firefox and quit-and-reopen the Firefox, the tab back to un-pinned status.
Firefox version is 57.
Incredible usefull update of the previous 'OneTab.' Like, the share as webpage option- creating a html overview of the saved tabs (including QR-code for easy sharing). Not to mention working with groups, pinned-tabs and so on... I absolutely <3 it!
I can quickly save and close multiple tabs, freeing up resources, speeding up my computer, and saving tabs I want to use in the future. Awesome.
Lost all tabs randomly. I followed guides posted by the devs to recover, but didn't work. I loved this app, but I can't use it anymore after this has happened twice in 3 months. You are better off making a bookmark folder and organizing you tabs in that as it's much safer.
One of my four essential Add-ons. Losing OneTab would seriously affect my productivity!
I love OneTab, it constantly saves me from Tab Adiction...
So indispensable that I can't wait it to can work on Firefox 59 (Quantum Nightly) Mac! :-)
This helps organize my tabs while saving memory. It really works.
Moved to Firefox from Chrome. My old App (Tab Cloud) was not supported so I moved to One Tab. I am happy with the app, Had a small learning curve as I lost all my saved Tabs when I restored them. Found the options page and made some changes so this no longer happens. A very fast app that gets my mornings started off with all the web sites I check each day. I recommend One Tab.
Lost all my tabs when quantum installed itself without warning.
I reverted to legacy v52 esr.
Onetab disappeared entirely.
Reinstalled version 1.17 as recommended.
Still no onetab button, no right click context presence, no onetab page.
Uninstalled, restarted firefox, reinstalled - same result. It's GONE.
Before that-was 4.5 stars.
(Luckily I saved the whole page a week earlier, and the links still work directly from the htm file/folder (whole page saved). So I didn't lose my work, at least. Recommend users to do this.)
Great extension ! Very useful and easy to use !
OneTab stopped working after I upgraded to Firefox Quantum. Now all my links are lost. I have a backup of my hard drive from before i upgraded to firefox quantum but can't find any documentation of where onetab data is stored. how do i restore from my backup and recover the few hundred links i had in onetab?
What version of OneTab are you using? OneTab v1.25 is compatible with Firefox Quantum
Highly Recommended!! Does Exactly what it promises... simple & effective. Love it!
