pubblicato il 5 anni faHello. We do appreciate your feedback and will forward it for consideration. As well, additional functionality regarding servers' selection is indeed in our roadmap, however, no ETA for now on its implementation. As of slow interface, it would be best if you'd drop a line to our customers' support team, for them to check whether any other extension or service ain't interfering our Proxy Extension's functionality. You may reach our team out at support.nordvpn.com.

Apologies for the temporary inconvenience. -N.L. - Valutata 3 su 5di Vynax, 5 giorni faIf your Firefox crash after NordVPN's April 2024 update, use the Task Manager to shutdown Firefox completely.
Then press shift when you restart Firefox, you should be able to use Firefox without any extension enabled ( safe mode ).
Disable NordVPN extension and restart Firefox, you should be able to use Firefox normaly for now.Replica dello sviluppatore

pubblicato il 6 giorni faHello. Our team is aware of the issues with the latest update, and we will release a fix as soon as possible. Sorry for this inconvenience! -L.L. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 15309897, 7 giorni faI have the same issue as other users. All my tabs in Firefox are loading on start-up. I use the extension because Google does not load when I am connected with the desktop app only. Somehow with this plugin I bypass this issue.
I have tried all the commands around the tabs loading in Firefox config but it does not matter, the extension bypasses them no matter what. Only deactivating the extension resolves the issue.
I tried deleting and re-adding the extension. Nothing at all. It is sad. We pay for this service and it doesn't work. Please fix it. The issue happened to me yesterday as Firefox updated to latest version.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 giorni faHello. Sorry for this inconvenience. Our team is fully aware of the situation and we will release a fix as soon as possible. -L.L. - Valutata 1 su 5di Neo Sir Nova, 7 giorni fa
- Valutata 1 su 5di aminomancer, 7 giorni faThe latest update (Apr 4, 2024) causes Firefox to instantly crash, and seems like it may be compromised. This addon now takes it upon itself to load all my discarded tabs. With many discarded tabs, that equals a crash. Given that it can access your data for all websites, this behavior is very suspicious.
If you use session restore and have many tabs, then when you launch Firefox, you'll have many tabs discarded in the background, which won't load until you click on them.
That's how it's supposed to work, but this addon forcibly loads them as soon as it runs. I have no idea why. It's trying to open a document called fingerprint.html (could you possibly be more sketchy?), but for some reason it ends up loading all my tabs. Considering that NordVPN was notoriously hacked recently, I would certainly not install this addon.
This is especially serious because most users in this situation will not know how to recover their profile. The addon causes this crash as soon as it starts, which is at app startup. So as soon as you launch Firefox, it crashes. There's no opportunity to use the Firefox UI to close some of your tabs or delete the addon. And most users won't even know how to figure out that it's this particular addon causing the problem.
The way to fix this is to find your profile (google that), go to the extensions folder, and delete the xpi file whose name starts with "nord". Then when you start Firefox there should be no problem (assuming a malicious actor hasn't taken control of this addon and is using this behavior to collect data on all your open tabs).Replica dello sviluppatore

- Valutata 4 su 5di ledov, 14 giorni faI usually use the "auto connect" option. It works (debian 12.5) as it should. But I would like a browser add-on to be able to a) know that the connection is established; b) disable and enable the connection on a system-wide (not just browser) level.
