Hallelujiah! I have been looking for this feature for a long long time! I typically have to do multiple screenshots and clip them together in Photoshop. Or find a site that will do it and most are not very effective. Thank you!!!1
New on here just alot harder to hg et stuff on n whatever im not a professional
Not available for Android - SHAME ON YOU
Good and fantastic
Excellent when it works, which it did for about 3 weeks. Now, it is dead in the water and I assume that the free verion is use-limited. None of their promotional materials, on Firefox or their web site, give this information. "Live" support seems to be non-existent. I don't think Mozilla should carry this add-on without adding this fact, or that the paid version is expensive -- $60USD. I'm going to uninstall it and look elsewhere.
Unfortunately it has stopped saving as an image file and also as a .pdf file, which sort of defeats the object of having it in the first place, if you can't save the screenshots. It now saves as "All Files" and nothing else, which means it doesn't save to a file that can be opened later on.
Such a shame. Fireshot used to be the absolute "bees knees".
1)It can't choose the location to save the file freely. My personal request is that when save the file, users can select the location to save the file every time.
2)Saved as a PDF file, then it open, and when close the file, this message is displayed on the screen every time.
"Saving changes before you close this file?"
I tested other PC and FF,the same message is displayed.so I think the cause is in this add-on.
If this 2 points is improved,I think this add-on must be the best one of FF add-on.
FireShot is normally a 5 star extension. But why has it become incompatible with earlier version of Firefox and clones (Waterfox, Palemoon, Basilik...) that are still used as Firefox Quantum does not support many essential XUL extensions.
I update my post as I eventually found a link to retrieve previous versions of FireShot, the latest compatible with non-Quantum Firefox:
(Disable auto-update in the Options)
good..but not support
Firefox 57 geïnstalleerd maar die add on vertelt mij ik heb versie 56 geïnstalleerd. Dus, niet te gebruiken
Firefox earlier versions not compatible. Why???!!! A good application compatible the earlier version. This basic function.
Used to be five stars, but with the new update, it suddenly does the same thing that all the inferior capture plugins does when taking a full-page screenshot: simply scrolls the page and stitches the screenshots together. This causes tearing and additional effort which is completely unacceptable. Is there a way to restore the legacy version where it just captured the whole page all at once?
Not working with the latest 59.0a1 version of Firefox...
The addon shows dialog page after taking a screenshot (even if you turn it off). In the previous version you could save a page in one click, now there is always dropdown menu. Too much clicks, too poor usability. I'm going to use default Firefox screenshot option.
nice - love it!
easy to use
Firefox Quantum now contains a screenshot option that provides far superior functionality, without the need for intrusive external programs. There is no longer any reason to use this addon.
Used to be one of my favorite add-ons for Firefox and I actually paid for a license years ago because it was lightweight, worked well, and had a lot of utility; however, the developers have somehow managed to take an excellent add-on and slowly by surely turn it into garbage with every update. Yes, even the 'Pro' version is abysmal; it's bloated, requires a separate process to be running on your machine (the developers have yet to provide a logical or sensible explanation for this), and simply doesn't work as well as it used to. One of my favorite features was capturing pages and saving as PDFs, but try doing that now and you get a blurry PDF that looks like a JPEG image circa 2001. There are better extensions out there that provide the same functionality as FireShot and do a better job at it. I wish things were different and I could tell you how great this add-on is, but it's not what it used to be and I wholly regret having purchased a license.
Problems with the new version of Firefox have been fixed
As I promised, I gave 5 stars
Спам при старте. Ножницы от виндовс лучше работают, чем это..
Fireshot öffnet nach dem Start von Firefox neuerdings eine Eigenwerbung. Deinstalliert.
I would give it no stars if I could. I've been using FireShot for years, but now you're installing adware with the upgrade so I have to look at your spam whenever I open Firefox. Also, the function of selecting the section I want to save is not visible anymore. I'm uninstalling this. It's a shame you had to ruin the free version to coerce people to purchase the Pro version.
Used with Nimbus, i love it
This add-on RARELY works - after choosing the method of capture from the drop-down menu, it's virtually impossible to select the area to capture. Attempting to start the process again is a waste of time because of the pop-up that reads the add on is still in use. I've removed this crap from my machine.
