Hi NeilMT! Thank you for the kind words about the addon — we're committed to keeping it first class! The download issues were caused by a YouTube algorithm change that temporarily broke things. We've now released version 24.1, which fixes the problem and restores full download functionality — no need for any paid alternatives.     What a surprise that Video Downloader is working again after an update. Kudos for overcoming the issues YouTube is causing, at least for now. But for how long? I immediately downloaded the playlist I wanted, to avoid another blockage. By the way, not everything worked: songs by Clouseau remain blocked (0 bytes).

    this app is very usefull. i understand why it dosent always work because YT is trying to block it. But they should let us download videos. i use tis for my work and presentaion. very usefull. keep going and good luck with YT
