The downloads history just says it failed. If course if you try any other resolution it gives some flannel that YT changed something and so they need you to pay for the PRO version. I have seen this tactic on some VPN add-ons.
So it works fine for a short period or a few downloads at 360, then it stops and your only option is to pay them money. This is the message if you choose any other resolution or format
"Youtube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 720p (Since 24 September 2018)/1080p/mp3 streams. Converting these streams to downloadable formats for you needs powerful server infrastructure, therefore 1080p/mp3 downloading has been limited to PRO users."

Easy to use and generally reliable, though sometimes YouTube does catch up--briefly, never for long. I use it in conjunction with a standalone app that does some of what this doesn't, but the reverse is also true. Highly recommended.

I decided to to re install the down loader and go pro... so I donated a very expensive cup of coffee... 30$ in US funds that's like 10,000,000 Canadian any way even after donating... I did not receive a receipt... So I emailed and emailed still not too helpful the suggestions that came back were tried but all i was able to see was MP4 down loads all across the page... finally Nov. 16 2025 for what ever reason - I went back to the down loader in YouTube and there it was MP3 in two qualities... 128 and 256 Wow.. AND IT WAS WORKING.. so I finally was a happy person... I emailed back and thanked them but, I wish that they were a little more personable... thanks anyways... Joe
