di Gordon, un anno faAfter seeing the amount of brain dead one star reviews for this extension it needs to be said that whenever this extension is causing your browser to run slow its either one of three things that its actually the fault of the extension with badly optimised code, a website itself has change technologies or its the browser itself. Recently it has been the last two so anybody who has written those reviews without for example, not considering maybe the extension runs fine on another browser you are NOT being open minded.
Furthermore a lot of people are now thinking you have to pay to use this extension now that they are asking for donations, the fact of the matter is a lot of people are not bothering to realise that it says "PAY FOR USING" not "PAY TO USE", talk about dyslexia.

- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 13848868, 2 giorni faI've been using Dark Reader for years, but now it slows down and even hangs my browser. When I use Firefox Settings to set backgrounds to black, I lose highlighting effects. Absence of a working dark mode could cause me to abandon Firefox. :-(

- Valutata 4 su 5di Alphonse, 3 giorni faEfficiently renders webpages as dark by altering elements directly (by default). Very effective at eliminating bright backgrounds no matter the source. Interface is a bit clunky with four subpages to sift through, and verbiage a bit confusing. Can rarely unintentionally hide elements from sight, so double-check a page with it disabled in case anything is missing.

rate: a must have daily browsing tool for dark mode users - Valutata 5 su 5di VOIIIXI, 7 giorni faThe best dark mode add-on there is and nothing else comes close, visually it's brilliant! it dynamically and intelligently changes any page to look great depending on the different sites. I haven't seen one site that looks bad with it. The only problem is the performance hit on certain sites where it causes some slow downs, But it's so good that I don't really mind it that much.

- Valutata 4 su 5di Sérgio Henrique S P, 8 giorni faÀss vezes deixa o Firefox lento, ou trava. O próprio Firefox avisa para parar a extensão.
- Valutata 4 su 5di Exostenza, 9 giorni faIt's mostly really good but on the occasional site, like Aliexpress, I need to disable it and then enable it for it to display the page correctly. I don't understand it as it is still using the same filter when I cycle it but for some reason it has to be done to a few sites to display properly. Other than that this is a must have as while backgrounds are eyeball destroyers.

- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 19953775, 13 giorni faThis extension hijacks searches to include their referral tag to steal rep and/or money for themselves. When directly going to www.google.com and running a manual search in the search bar, this addon hijacks the search to include its referral tag, making Google think this app initiated the search. This is similar to how Honey steals money via referral codes. Go to Google, run a search, then disable the addon and do the same thing. Compare the URL bar.

- Valutata 2 su 5di Pro_Libra, 14 giorni faRecently slowing down all pages on mozilla firefox and several other pages. If developers can fix this, this is the best extension. Please fix this "slowing down firefox" problem.
