A perfect example is Yahoomail+. Yahoo likes to sneak in things in the background that Adblock catches and stops. The problem is Yahoo has so much running in the background like questionable cookies, trackers etc. that you often end up with just a completely blank page. Yahoo's answer is to not run Adblock and allow their cookies and tracking to run. I say "NO WAY"! So keep up the excellent work Adblock, you make it so we can browse safely without fear of catching some virus/malware etc!

they send very annoying ads all the bloody time, using the system notification system, even while your screen saver is engaged!
You have to block your firefox from sending notifications to the system to stop this behavior, so if you expect your calendar manager that is running from firefox, to send notifications of meetings, expect these stupid alerts also.
