Tentang Pengaya ini
From the "New Tab" page, instead of having to click on the thumbnail, can use a key shortcut. Type the number that is written on the tumbnail in large red font and it will open to that site.
Understanding how it works
If in the currently focused window, a tab contains about:newtab page, it allows you to press a hotkey. If the hotkey is double digit, it must be pressed within 300ms after releasing the first digits key. You don't have to try hard to do this, its normal behavior, typically there is 60-200ms between keys when you type. If you press first digit of a double digit hot key, and wait more than 300ms, the buffer will be cleared. So pressing a second key after 300ms is like pressing the first digit key. Confusing? Yeah I'm a programmer not a manual writer!
The reason it's made like this is because it allows support for double digit hotkeys. Secondly it allows a user to type in the URL bar without triggering a hotkey. Say they wanted to go to a site 1house.com. When they keydown 1, they have time to keydown h which will cancel the hotkey.
In the url bar if you ever start typing and its not blank, then the addon does not listen to the key input. Only if you blank the URL bar, the first inputs within the multiple key time limit of 300ms will be accepted.
