Works, but buggy Peringkat 4 dari 5 bintang

This does what I want, but is buggy. Follow mathrick's advice to set the color for highlighting. Spam F5 until #FFFFFF changes for the colors. Then you can change it to whatever you want.

I haven't had any of the issues the previous posters wrote about. But I do thank you for leaving that feedback in case I do.

The only problem I'm having is once you are on Reddit it works fine, however if you are on say example r/help and then do a search for example the world highlight, the search results do not show the new messages in the highlighted color as it does on r/help subreddit.

Other than that, this is a fantastic addon!

Thank you! And hope to see this little feature I mention working in a future update.

Good, but wonky settings Peringkat 4 dari 5 bintang

I can confirm the problem with settings not being read / saved correctly as reported by nerdmanxdx, on a fresh install. This makes using the extension confusing without knowing precisely the steps that are needed to unwedge it. Otherwise, a fine extension that does what RES lacks.

Very useful extension for subreddits with ongoing discussions. However, I experienced an issue with the options page but found a workaround (details below). Rating this 5 stars anyway because it initially worked and only stopped working after FireFox crashed on me one day.

Cozy Reddit was working well for me for a long time after I first installed it until something in my FireFox crashed and I lost my settings for both RES and Cozy Reddit. Cozy Reddit stopped highlighting my new comments, but it still showed the number of new comments in gray. For some reason, the options page showed the chosen color for highlighting new comments and the counter of new comments as white (#FFFFFF). Changing the settings and pressing "save changes" did nothing.

Eventually, I just tried loading the options page and pressing refresh (F5) a bunch of times. After a lot of refreshes, the color options finally changed from #FFFFFF to the normal default values (beige highlight and green count). After that, the options page accepted changes to the settings when pressing "Save changes".

I closed the options page and reopened it to test it. The options page was back to showing #FFFFFF for highlight and count, but Cozy Reddit was still working properly. I pressed refresh several times again, and it eventually loaded my saved settings and the options page started working again.

I did this several times and this is reproducible for me, but the number of refreshes required to get the options page working was variable each time (between 1 - ~20 refreshes).
