This extension only runs when the user explicitly selects text on a webpage and chooses “Send to Write-up.dev” from the context menu.

What the extension accesses and stores:
- Reads only the user’s current text selection at the moment of that action.
- Stores one local preference in browser storage: the configured base URL (options page).

What the extension sends:
- Sends the selected text to the configured Write-up.dev URL by opening a new tab with import parameters.
- Does not collect analytics, does not perform background tracking, and does not sell or share data with advertisers.

Authentication:
- Write-up.dev may require Google sign-in and allowlist access as part of the website’s normal access control.
- Website authentication is handled by Write-up.dev, not by this extension.
