SecureHive Shadow AI helps security and IT teams detect organizational use of AI websites and enforce centrally managed AI-use policies.

The extension detects visits to known and organization-defined AI services, records configurable navigation metadata, and reports detections to the organization’s SecureHive environment.

Key capabilities:
• Detect known and organization-defined AI tools
• Report AI-tool usage to the SecureHive governance platform
• Apply centrally managed monitor, warn, and block policies
• Locally examine supported AI prompt fields for sensitive-data patterns
• Display recent detections and synchronization status
• Support enterprise-managed configuration and signed policy bundles

A SecureHive tenant and administrator-provided configuration are required for reporting and centralized policy features. Raw prompt text and matched sensitive values are not stored or transmitted.
