Searched is a companion extension for the Searched party trivia game (https://searched.vercel.app). It lets you contribute questions to your game room by pulling them from your own Google search history.

When you turn on data collection (off by default, you must opt in from the extension's own settings screen), it scans the last 30 days of your browser history locally, on your device, for Google search titles phrased as questions: searches that are at least three words long and start with one of the following words:

What, Why, How, When, Where, Who, Whose, Whom, Which, Was, Were, Do, Does, Did, Have, Has, Can, Will, Should, Could, Would, Is, Are, Difference, Top, Best, Worst, Minimum, Maximum, Least, Most, Average, Recommended, Cheapest, Latest, Highest, Largest, Biggest, Greatest, Fastest, Slowest, Smallest, Nearest, Farthest, Easiest, Hardest, Trending, Budget, Finest.

Only matched entries are uploaded, and only to the Searched room you're currently in. Nothing else in your history is read or sent.

You can turn data collection off at any time from the extension's settings, and you can permanently delete data already collected using "Revoke & delete" in the Searched app.
