Polymarket Simulator per DryFlip

Polymarket Simulator is a free educational tool for practicing on Polymarket with virtual money only. It never uses real money, never connects a wallet, and never places real orders. It exists so people can learn how prediction-market prices, order books and fees work before they ever consider using a real platform.

IMPORTANT: THIS IS A PRACTICE AND TESTING TOOL ONLY
• Every trade in this extension is simulated. No real money is ever used, deposited, wagered, won or lost.
• The virtual balance is fake play money. It has no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for anything.
• The extension does not connect to any wallet, does not ask for payment details, and does not offer purchases, subscriptions, prizes or rewards of any kind.
• The extension never places, sends or signs orders on Polymarket or any other service. It only reads publicly available market prices to make the simulation realistic.

WHAT IT DOES
When you open a market page on polymarket.com, a practice panel appears at the bottom of the page. You start with a virtual balance of $1,000 in play money and can simulate trades on the market you are viewing. The simulator uses public price data, so the practice experience reflects real market conditions without any financial risk.

WHY USE IT
Prediction markets can be confusing for beginners. Polymarket Simulator helps you understand them by doing, safely:
• See how a price reflects the market's estimated probability of an outcome.
• Learn how order size affects the average price you would receive (slippage).
• See how platform fees change the result of a trade.
• Understand the maximum possible loss before you act.
• Review past practice trades to spot habits, such as holding too long or entering at poor prices.

FEATURES
• Practice panel: markets list, order ticket and positions, docked to the bottom of the Polymarket page. Collapse it to a slim bar at any time.
• Realistic simulation: simulated fills use the live public order book and the market's published fee schedule.
• Built-in explanations: tap the "?" next to any number (shares, average price, slippage, fee, payout, maximum loss) for a plain-language explanation using your own numbers.
• Positions and history: track open practice positions, close them, and see closed practice trades. Positions settle automatically when the real market resolves.
• Trade review: charts and a short review of each practice trade, showing what happened before and after you closed it.
• Learning stats: practice win rate, streaks, average hold time and "edge" (how your exit compared with your entry) to measure your progress.
• Balance tab: add more virtual play money whenever you like, or start a fresh practice run. Added play money is tracked separately and never counted as a result.
• Share cards: create an image of a practice result. Every card is clearly stamped "Paper trade · no real funds" so it cannot be mistaken for a real trade.
• Keyboard shortcuts for a faster practice workflow.

PRIVACY
• No account and no sign-up.
• No personal data is collected, sold or shared.
• Your virtual balance, practice trades and settings are stored only on your own device, in your browser's local extension storage. Uninstalling the extension removes them.
• The only network requests are to Polymarket's public market-data services (polymarket.com, gamma-api.polymarket.com, clob.polymarket.com) to read prices, order books and market results.

• Storage: saves your virtual balance, practice trades and settings locally on your device.
• Access to polymarket.com: shows the practice panel on Polymarket pages.
• Access to gamma-api.polymarket.com and clob.polymarket.com: reads public market information and prices for the simulation. Nothing is ever sent to these services on your behalf.
