MonkeyType Trainer adds two focused practice modes to your MonkeyType typing tests, so you build real touch-typing skill instead of memorizing short bursts of text.

Read-Ahead Masking
Once you start typing, the current word (plus a few words ahead, your choice) gets hidden — as a solid block, a blur, or fully invisible. This trains you to read ahead of your cursor, the way skilled touch-typists actually work. Hold a peek key to reveal it if you get stuck, and optionally mask already-typed words too.

N-Gram Chunking Trainer
Generate drill text from the most common English bigrams, trigrams, tetragrams, or whole words, with adjustable combination and repetition settings. The text loads straight into MonkeyType's Custom Text mode — no manual copy-pasting. An optional auto-leveling mode raises the difficulty automatically as your WPM and accuracy improve.

Simple, private, MonkeyType-only
