MarsLinker – Effortless Site Data Sharing Across Browsers

MarsLinker is a lightweight browser extension designed to temporarily transfer site-specific browsing data between different browser clients, profiles, or devices. Instead of relying on continuous background sync, it uses a secure code-and-password model for controlled, on-demand sharing.

The popup interface is clean and divided into two core sections:

Subscription (Receive): Enter a code and password to fetch and apply site data instantly.

Publication (Send): Create a share plan for a specific site with custom options like expiration times, usage limits, and sensitive data filtering.

MarsLinker operates on a strict "per-site permission" model rather than asking for blanket access to all websites. It requests domain access only when needed and can automatically clear old site remnants before applying new data to ensure a clean state transition.

How It Works:

Open the MarsLinker popup and select Subscription or Publication.

To Receive: Enter the code and password, authorize the domain when prompted, and apply the site data.

To Send: Select a site, configure your share settings, and generate the encrypted package.

Manage: View, update, or remove your active subscriptions and share plans anytime.

Privacy: Transferred site data is encrypted and used strictly for user-initiated sharing functions. MarsLinker operates on demand without continuous tracking or personal data collection.
