Politica de confidentialitate pro Location Shield
Location Shield per TaughtOrange
Location Shield stores location preferences and per-hostname rules locally in Firefox. It does not send analytics or information to its developer.
When a website requests an approximate location, Firefox obtains the actual position with its normal location permission and the extension computes approximate coordinates locally. In fixed mode the configured coordinates are returned without requesting actual coordinates. Pause and Real location allow actual coordinates. The requesting website receives the selected result.
The optional map uses OpenFreeMap. No map requests occur until you click Load map and grant the optional location-data permission. OpenFreeMap receives your IP address and the map resources you request, revealing the viewed area; map resources include tiles, style data, fonts, and sprites. Its privacy policy is at https://openfreemap.org/privacy/. Revoking this optional permission closes the map. Manual coordinate entry remains available without map permission.
This extension does not hide your IP address or other location clues. Uninstalling the extension removes its local settings under Firefox’s normal extension storage behavior.
