KickAlert is a lightweight, zero-dependency extension that keeps you connected to your favorite Kick.com streamers.
Features:
- Instant desktop notifications with streamer's avatar
- Auto-launch — automatically opens selected streamers in a new tab
- Per-channel sound control — 4-state bell: main sound, secondary sound, silent, or muted
- Favorite channels — star your top channels, they appear first
- Channel groups — create custom groups and filter with one click
- Multi-stream viewer — watch up to 4 streams with 5 layouts and drag-drop
- Do Not Disturb — schedule quiet hours for notifications, sounds, and auto-launch
- Cloud sync — sync settings across devices via Google account
- Dark & light theme
- Custom notification sounds (up to 2 MB)
- Adjustable check interval (30s–5min)
- Duplicate tab guard
- Notification history (last 100)

KickAlert is built with vanilla JavaScript — zero dependencies, no frameworks, no build tools. Manifest V3 architecture with chrome.alarms for reliable scheduling. Cross-browser compatible (Chrome + Firefox) from a single codebase. All data stays local in the browser. Open source under MIT license at github.com/segelferd/kick-alert
