Kick Viewer Count per Ege Kocabas

Kick.com allows streamers to hide their viewer counts, and many do. This extension brings them back wherever possible.

Once installed, viewer counts appear wherever they are missing: on livestream cards while you browse or explore categories, on channels listed in your sidebar, and on channel pages. No setup or configuration needed.

How it works

Kick pages already load viewer count data as part of their normal network traffic. This extension intercepts that data locally in your browser before it is discarded and uses it to display the counts you would otherwise never see. On browse and category pages where that data isn't always available, the extension makes direct requests to Kick's own API to fill in the gaps.

There is no external server involved. All data is kept in memory only for the duration of your current page session and is never sent anywhere outside your browser.

Privacy

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It does not track your activity, browsing history, or viewing habits. It reads only the viewer count data that Kick's own pages already load, uses it to update what you see on screen, and discards it when you leave the page. No accounts, no sign-in, no analytics.

Permissions

The extension only runs on Kick.com. It requests no special permissions beyond what is needed to read and modify the Kick.com page you are already visiting.
