This does not download things. However: if you have ffmpeg on your computer already, you can have this detect an embedded video in a web page and it can generate the ffmpeg command you need to download the video.

Granted, so far I've only tried it one time. But it worked!

It was working great but now most of the time, I have to reload the page for it to work.

It doesn't capture anything unless you reload the page.

Very nice addon, although it be nice if MPV or VLC (or both) were included by default (instead of user custom command), also maybe in settings a filter list of some sort so video title (based on page title) you can add "[space]- Websitenamehere" and on new line something else...

Wow I wish I had learned of this addon some days ago instead of wasting all my time trying to get things to work other ways. Found this by luck when looking for something else.

Pretty fantastic add-on that I use with FFMPEG a lot. I've never come across any other add-on or web-based thing that compliments the overbearing complexity of FFMPEG like this does or is not aimed at a particular website. The two combined cover pretty much any streaming capture needs.

Would be super keen to have additional FFMPEG/PLAY/PROBE features with this.

Buggy addon - sometimes it works - sometimes it doesnt. Re-installing the addon might help sometimes.
