HelpDeskID Verify per SRM Systems, LLC

HelpDeskID keeps your organization's IT support interactions secure by giving you a simple, instant way to verify identity before a technician accesses your account or assists with a support request — and to confirm a technician's identity before you hand over access to anything.

How it works

When your IT help desk initiates a support session, your technician sends you a verification request in real time. A browser notification appears immediately, showing the technician's name and organization before you respond. Approve or deny with a single click, without leaving the page you're on. You can also send a request in the other direction to verify that the person calling you is actually from your IT team, protecting you from impersonation scams.

Why it matters

Social engineering and impersonation attacks often target the help desk — both by tricking technicians into helping the wrong person, and by scammers posing as IT staff to gain access to your device or account. HelpDeskID closes both gaps with real-time, two-way identity verification.
