foxgate — try exact-action approvals per Pooria

foxgate is an open-source library that puts policy, exact-action approvals and spend caps between an AI agent and the actions it takes. This add-on lets you try the approval part in a popup, with no agent and no AI model.

Who it is for: developers who build AI agents and want to see how an approval for one exact action works, and people who want to judge the idea before they use it.

What it does

• A simulated agent asks to send a checkout form on checkout.example.com, with an email and a plan.
• The popup shows the waiting request. You click Approve or Deny.
• After an approval, "Run the approved action" runs. "Run a changed action" asks to run the same form with another plan, and foxgate refuses it, because the approval holds for the exact action only.
• A list shows each decision.

The agent and the form are simulated. The add-on does not visit or send any form on a real website.

What leaves your computer

Nothing. The add-on makes no network requests. It has no server and sends nothing to its authors.

Permissions

• Storage: the grants and the waiting requests.
• Public suffix list: match a domain such as checkout.example.com to its site, as a real agent host would.
