Docta per Mikkel

Ask your own AI about your courses.

Docta puts your course material in one private library that your AI can search: slides, PDFs, notes, announcements, assignment texts and, on the Degree plan, your lecture recordings. Ask Claude or ChatGPT "what did the lecturer say about deadlocks?" or "when is the semester project due?", and the answer comes from your own course material, with a link to the file it came from.

Why Docta
- One search across your courses. No more clicking through folders to find that one slide.
- Answers you can check. Every answer links to the file it came from.
- Always up to date. Docta syncs by itself every 30 minutes while your browser is open.
- Scanned PDFs too. Docta reads the text in scanned pages and images, Danish included.
- Lectures as text (Degree plan). Video and audio recordings become text with timestamps, so your AI can point you to the right minute.
- Works with the AI you already use: Claude, ChatGPT and other apps that support MCP.
- Save web pages too (Degree plan). Right-click a page or a selection and add it to one of your courses, so your AI searches it with the rest.

Private by design
- Your files are turned into text in your own browser. The files themselves are never uploaded.
- On the Degree plan, the compressed audio of your recordings is uploaded, turned into text on our GPU in Paris, then deleted. The video is never uploaded.
- Your itslearning sign-in stays in the extension and is never sent to us.
- Your library is yours alone, encrypted on our server in Germany. Privacy policy: https://docta.dk/en/privacy

Docta is not affiliated with itslearning or any university. Works in Firefox 142 or newer. In English and Danish.
