WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Record clicks in the browser tab where you open the recorder, with screenshots and optional short input clips.
- Capture a desktop app, window, or screen through Firefox's screen-sharing picker. Desktop mode records screenshots without audio.
- Pause, resume, stop, discard, and review recordings of up to 50 steps.
- Upload a recording to your Demo-Creator workspace and open it as a private editable draft.
- Refine steps and captions in the web editor, then publish or share a demo when you choose.

GET STARTED
Sign in at https://demo-creator.com, open Settings, generate a recorder pairing token, and paste it into Pairing token in the add-on. Choose Current browser tab or Desktop app or screen and start recording.

ACCOUNT AND USAGE
The add-on is free to install. A Demo-Creator account and workspace are required to upload and edit demos. The hosted service offers trial access; paid plans, workspace permissions, feature availability, and credit limits apply to continued use and generated content. See https://demo-creator.com/pricing.

YOUR CAPTURES, YOUR CHOICE
Recording starts only when you request it. Captures stay in your browser until you upload them. Browser recording uses temporary access to your selected tab; after moving to another website origin, reopen the recorder and resume to grant access there.

Browser mode covers detected readable passwords and codes before storage, but other private information may remain visible. Desktop captures cannot detect passwords. Pause or hide secrets, and review captures before uploading.

Uploading sends captures, interaction information, title, context, language, and applicable visible page text to demo-creator.com. Importing with a demo context sends relevant captured material to OpenAI to prepare demo text. Uploading does not publish your demo. The recorder has no advertising trackers or background browsing-history collection.
