Boxd Format per luisito

Letterboxd's web composer is a plain text box. The site supports a handful of HTML tags, silently throws away anything else, and never tells you when your formatting didn't survive. Boxd Format adds the toolbar the website never had.

WHAT IT DOES

• Toolbar and shortcuts for everything Letterboxd supports: bold, italic, links and blockquotes. Buttons light up when your cursor is inside that formatting, and click again to remove it. Default shortcuts are Ctrl/Cmd+B, I, K and Shift+. — all can be changed in the settings.
• A live preview that follows Letterboxd's own rules: a blank line becomes a paragraph, a single line break stays a line break, and unsupported tags vanish. What you see is what publishes.
• Warnings before you post: Markdown that would publish with the asterisks showing, an unclosed tag, or curly quotes that would break a link. Each comes with a one-click fix.
• Paste from anywhere: rich text from Google Docs or Notion, or a Markdown draft, is converted to Letterboxd formatting instead of arriving stripped.
• Draft recovery: close the review window by accident and your writing isn't gone. Drafts are kept on your device and offered back to you, never restored without asking.
• Undo that works: Ctrl/Cmd+Z steps back through your formatting instead of wiping the whole review.

Every feature can be turned off individually in the settings.

PRIVACY

No network requests, no analytics, no tracking, no remote code. The only permissions are storage (for your settings and drafts) and access to letterboxd.com. Drafts stay on your device and are never synced.
