- Classificate 5 de 5per Usator de Firefox 12752117, 2 lata temuIt works real nice, provided the webp images are not in a frame (according to the explanation from the developer). But there's a workaround, opening the page in a new tab. After that, saving works. Fixing this minor issue would be excellent. Nice work and thanks!
- Classificate 5 de 5per Nikita, 2 lata temuActually works, so I'm happy.
Shift + PNG.
Also, would be better to let the images save directly in last saved folder by default, instead of switching to it in options (and option isn't clear about what it does). - Classificate 5 de 5per Alex Pedruzzi, 2 lata temuMuito bom! Converte imagens que muitos editores não reconhecem e oferece opções de qualidade na hora de salvar. TOP! Obrigado! XD
- Classificate 5 de 5per hope, 2 lata temuworks exactly as it says it will, and i have it on for all image file types + it makes saving things instant! i couldnt live without it :)

- Classificate 5 de 5per megakarlach, 3 lata temuIt simply just works, really great. It simply convert WebP to PNG/JPEG.
WebP is good but have some limitations, most systems and software generally does not have WebP, especially Windows (with it's photo viewer) and all old version of Photoshop until CC 2023, and some users hated WebP for many reasons, incl. had to convert files. - Classificate 5 de 5per Alex, 3 lata temusince recently, the bar does not pop up on some images

Thanks a lot for the answer, now the bar appears.
Your supplement is the best, it is simply impossible to do without it.Responsa de disveloppator
publicate 3 lata temuSorry, yes, I changed a default setting in the last update. The bar used to always pop up in the "stand-alone" viewer (when you Open Image in New Tab). Now it only pops up automatically for WebP and AVIF images. But you can change it back in the Settings/Options.
Under "Button Bar Options" in the "Auto-close and Auto-open" section, there is a checkbox for "image/webp and image/avif only" -- uncheck that box to make sure the bar opens for all images if you might want to save a JPEG or PNG in a different format. - Classificate 5 de 5per Sauro P., 3 lata temuI could not live without this extension. I do things that require me to save a lot of images all at once daily, so I've now grown completely dependent on this. Literally can't express how helpful this extension is to me, its my best friend in this cold dark world
- Classificate 5 de 5per Yoshimasa, 3 lata temuhighly customizable and im finally able to download web straight as png. I swear this is the only add on that does such a simple task
- Classificate 5 de 5per pjmarengo, 3 lata temuThis has become one of my favorite and most frequently used Firefox extensions. I often download pictures from the web and it's so annoying when they are in the .webP format hat makes them hard to work with. This extension makes it so easy to download them as jpegs; I just right click and "open image in new tab" and that picture now has the options for the download format. Easy peasy.
As for downloading gifs... while this extension does not do that, it's very easy for anyone to do without an add-on: Click on the gif you want. From the Firefox toolbar at the top select tools --> page info --> media. Scroll down the list and click on the one you want; then click "save as" on the right-hand side.Responsa de disveloppator
publicate 3 lata temuThank you!
As a possible shortcut for the GIFs, you can restore the "View Image Info" command to the right-click context menu by toggling "browser.menu.showViewImageInfo" from false to true in about:config (see https://support.mozilla.org/kb/about-config-editor-firefox for more on about:config). - Classificate 5 de 5per juice, 3 lata temu

- Classificate 5 de 5per GUIGUI, 3 lata temuHello, thanks a lot for this, but one question: what about animated webp image (like this one for example: https://i0.wp.com/drunkenanimeblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Outburst-heder-gif-1.webp?fit=540%2C304&ssl=1 ) can future update on your addon allow to save them as webm?
Also, when the "Yes" option is selected in the "Save Dialog / Autosave Options" setting, it would be nice if the save dialog box remembered the file path for the next use.
Thanks.Responsa de disveloppator
publicate 3 lata temuThank you for your feedback. For animated webP, the "IE11" button works the best for saving in an animated GIF format, assuming the server offers one, but isn't perfect. For WebM, I could try linking to an online conversion service but I'm not aware of one.
The Save As dialog takes advantage of Firefox's built-in behavior to remember your last used folder per website. I actually don't know whether I can override that in the add-on; I'll need to look into it. - Classificate 5 de 5per Gordon, 3 lata temuExcellent add-on, thanks! I set the option to show the Save As dialogue each time and to save "Directly in my downloads folder", and for me it seems to remember the last save location so I don't have to go hunting for it each time. YMMV.
I haven't gotten the IE11 button to work yet, I still keep getting a .avif. But I may be misunderstanding something about that. Regardless, this thing is still great. Highly recommend if you are annoyed with getting .avif or .webp files when saving images.
