- Classificate 2 de 5per Absy, 7 moannen lynIt's cool but I can't open links from browser to app anymore, nor does it actually add any domains to the whitelist when I try to allow them to bypass.

publicate 7 moannen lynHey, sorry to hear that. Would you be able to submit a bug report on the GitHub for me so I can look into it? https://github.com/ACK-J/Port_Authority/issues
Edit: This issue has been resolved - Classificate 3 de 5per simlock, 7 moannen lynDoesn't ublock origin do the same with the filter list "Block Outsider Intrusion into LAN" enabled?

- Classificate 5 de 5per Erector Set, ien jier lynBrilliant and enlightening little project. Foolish that people take stars away for not fulfilling their specific use cases. Don't ding it, just leave your gripes in the comments. This deserves five stars.

publicate 8 moannen lynMozilla just approved PortAuthority v2.0.0 which has persistent settings and added the whitelist (gear icon). Enjoy! - Classificate 5 de 5per Seän "frostbyte" Shepherd, ien jier lyn
- Classificate 3 de 5per Brother Charles, 2 jierren lynThank you, ACK-J - this little extension works well. However, I've only rated it 3 stars because sometimes it proves to be a somewhat counter-productive annoyance. This plugin really, really needs a "whitelisting" option. For example, I can't log in and use box(dot)com and a couple of other sites/services that I use to backup my files online, unless I remember to temporarily disable 'Port Authority'. Please add a whitelisting option - that will make it a fully 5 star extension.

publicate 8 moannen lynThank you for the feedback, Mozilla just approved PortAuthority v2.0.0 which added the whitelist (gear icon). Enjoy! - Classificate 5 de 5per Edward, 2 jierren lynWorks good! I didn't know so many websites tried to scan my local network O_o
- Classificate 4 de 5per Kbabknight, 2 jierren lynI'm happy with this extension! However, the extension doesn't remember my choice to turn off notifications, so whenever I restart my browser it turns on again by default. Once this gets fixed, I'll give it 5 stars :)

Enjoy! - Classificate 5 de 5per aniline, 2 jierren lynOutdated: Notifications can't be disabled either globally or for individual sites. They re-enable themselves after the browser is restarted.

Edit 3/11/25: Mozilla just approved PortAuthority v2.0.0 which has persistent settings and added the whitelist (gear icon). Enjoy! - Classificate 5 de 5per geeknik, 2 jierren lyn
- Classificate 5 de 5per Zapfenzieher, 2 jierren lynWorks brilliantly! (Almost too well, sometimes; I want to allow my bank to port-scan me and I see from the code that I should be able to whitelist a domain but I don't see how. Better all than none, though.)
[edited to add: just saw the release notes for v1.1.4 regarding temporary reversion. Got it.]Responsa de disveloppator

If you'd be kind enough to beta test it for me the instructions are here https://github.com/ACK-J/Port_Authority/issues/32#issuecomment-1720072034

publicate 3 jierren lynHey, I just pushed an update that fixes this issue. Hope this helps! - Classificate 4 de 5per Usator de Firefox 15028866, 3 jierren lynI like this extension for browsing the web, but when I launch jupyter notebooks from the terminal, I have to disable this addon so it will redirect to the localhost port properly. It would be nice to have a way to add per-site exceptions, or an exception for localhost in general.
Responsa de disveloppator
